- What is Alcotex?
  - Alcotex is a high quality Aluminum Composite Material that is available for both exterior and interior applications. The high performance coil coated finish containes a minimum of 70% Kynar/Hylar polyvinylidene fluoride (PvDF) resins which meets or exceeds the AAMA 2605 designation.
- What is Alcotex/FR?
  - Alcotex/FR has a proprietary non-combustible mineral core which offers the same design and fabrication advantages as Alcotex. Alcotex/FR meets the ongoing challenges of the global building code community, is ideal for high-rise construction and is also environmentally friendly.
- What is the type of finish?
  - All of the Alcotex finishes are roll coated fluoropolymer coatings containing a minimum of 70% Kynar® 500/Hylar® 5000 resins. These finishes meet or exceed the AAMA 2605-98 requirements.
- Has Alcotex been tested in North America?
  - Both the standard and fire-rated core materials have had a wide range of product tests performed at the Architectural Testing Inc. facility in York, Pennsylvania. This wide range of tests meets the high architectural standard demanded by the architectural and construction community in North America. All of these product test reports are available upon request.
- What are the standard widths and lengths of Alcotex ACM?
  - The standard sheet widths are 1020mm (40"), 1250mm (49") and 1575mm (62"). All lengths are custom per the clients requirements, up to a maximum length of 19'8' (6000mm).
- How many colors is Alcotex available in and can I get a custom color?
  - There are over 30 standard colors available in 2-coat solid/mica, 3-coat metallic, and 3-coat stone finishes. Matching of custom colors is available upon request.
- How is Alcotex ACM produced?
  - Alcotex consists of two aluminum sheets sandwiching a solid core of extruded thermoplastic material processed continuously with no glues or adhesives. Alcotex is manufactured with a high superiority in flatness and excellent adhesive strength.
- How long can I expect delivery of my order to take place?
  - Delivery lead times are typically 30-45 days from receipt of purchase order. Alcotex ACM is shipped across North America and worldwide. Crates of flat sheets are shipped directly to your local fabricator.
- What is the length of the finish warranty for Alcotex ACM?
  - The standard length of warranty is up to a maximum of 20 years. The length of warranty will be reduced for any projects within 20 degrees North or South of the equator. Please refer to the Alcotex Warranty Terms and Conditions for further details.
- What is the thickness of Alcotex ACM?
  - 4mm is the standard thickness with 3mm and 6mm thicknesses also available.
